NetherRealm is now focusing on its next project and after more than two years of supporting Mortal Kombat 11, DLC for the game, including characters, has come to an end.

With NetherRealm's resources now seemingly fully focused on its next game, we hopefully won't have to wait long to find out. There are also rumours that the developer could be working on a new fighting game series based on the universe of Marvel Comics, much like it did with DC in the Injustice games. What could this new project be? It seems likely that it could be a new Injustice game, or the next Mortal Kombat title. NetherRealm announced that support for Mortal Kombat 11 will be ending as the developer “is now focusing on its next project”. However, that support has come to an end, meaning that November's additions of Mileena, Rain, and Rambo will be the final DLC characters to be added to the game.
